Dr Daniel Harvey is a registered Physiotherapy Specialist (Musculoskeletal) and provides assessments and management under the ACC Physiotherapy Specialist Services Contract.
Who is this service for?
This service is designed for clients with complex or persistent musculoskeletal conditions who:
Are not making expected progress with treatment
Require a second opinion regarding their diagnosis
Need specialist input into their management plan
Eligibility
To access this service, patients must:
Have a current accepted ACC claim directly related to their condition
Be referred by a healthcare professional
Have the referral letter clearly state that the client is being referred for a Physiotherapy Specialist Service
What to expect
Specialist assessments typically take up to one hour and can be provided in person at our Westgate Clinic (13C Maki Street, Westgate, Auckland) or via Telehealth.
Cost
There is no patient co-payment for eligible referrals under the ACC Physiotherapy Specialist Services Contract.
